Hello Friends,
Today, Linda had a pretty good day. Her pain was more manageable and she was in good spirits. She did therapy today and actually sat on the edge of her bed for a little while. She also got plenty of rest, which was made better by the addition of her own pillow. Tomorrow will be all about assessing her nutritional needs, as she hasn’t had much of an appetite lately. On Saturday, her PT team’s goal is to actually take her outside for some fresh air and movement.
She’s taking things slow and steady. And she’s in a great place!
Please keep those prayers coming!
Love to you all,
Sally Araujo Costa

After my accidental fall resulting in a severe spinal injury on August 1, 2017, doctors felt I wouldn't survive much past the initial 5 hr surgery. They also described the break as a complete injury which would leave me paralyzed, with a tracheotomy, feeding tube.
My motto since day one has been “ you don’t know me!” and I proved that in the past 2 years. Turns out the injury was not a complete injury. With that the hunt began to find PT that had the equipment to help me overcome the injury.
So always keep in mind these things in mind: Courage, Perseverance, Faith, Hope and Love.
