Hello Friends,
Today, Linda had her best day, yet. For the first time since her surgery, her pain level was very controlled. She actually went seven hours with no pain meds. That’s progress and healing in action! She also ate a little more today and had her hair washed. Tomorrow, she may venture outside, if all goes well.
This morning, upon Louie’s arrival at the hospital, she asked, “Why do you get here so late (11:00am)?” He answered, “The rule is that I can’t come before eleven because of all of your testing and therapy.” She responded, “Well, there’s no therapy tomorrow! You’d better be here at 9:00!”
That’s our Linda! Already taking charge!

After my accidental fall resulting in a severe spinal injury on August 1, 2017, doctors felt I wouldn't survive much past the initial 5 hr surgery. They also described the break as a complete injury which would leave me paralyzed, with a tracheotomy, feeding tube.
My motto since day one has been “ you don’t know me!” and I proved that in the past 2 years. Turns out the injury was not a complete injury. With that the hunt began to find PT that had the equipment to help me overcome the injury.
So always keep in mind these things in mind: Courage, Perseverance, Faith, Hope and Love.
