Hello Friends,
Linda was extremely exhausted today. Yesterday, she accomplished what she wanted to by getting out of bed and sitting up in her chair. Today, she slept most of the day, letting the pain medicine work its magic. We checked on her every 1/2 hour or so to make sure she was comfortable. Except for us, we did not allow any visitors today.
The physical therapist worked with her this afternoon. With her eyes closed, Linda was able to feel the therapist touching several places on her arms and actually moved her right arm on her own. These small milestones gave us hope and certainly gave us a reason to smile. Please keep those prayers coming. With God all things are possible.

After my accidental fall resulting in a severe spinal injury on August 1, 2017, doctors felt I wouldn't survive much past the initial 5 hr surgery. They also described the break as a complete injury which would leave me paralyzed, with a tracheotomy, feeding tube.
My motto since day one has been “ you don’t know me!” and I proved that in the past 2 years. Turns out the injury was not a complete injury. With that the hunt began to find PT that had the equipment to help me overcome the injury.
So always keep in mind these things in mind: Courage, Perseverance, Faith, Hope and Love.
