“Today, Linda was very alert for most of the day. She was able to eat several times (applesauce and soup) and really enjoyed that. Her periods of sleep were shorter, more like mini naps (versus sleeping all day). She’s still in a lot of pain, but never complains.
All of the nurses love her ❤️.
During physical therapy, she had some feeling in her arms and felt lots of tingling in her hands and feet (a good sign). Also, the therapist could feel some muscle movement in her legs when she was asked to try moving them. She’s taking baby steps, but she’s moving forward, and that is a blessing. She’s still in ICU, so for now, she can’t have many visitors. As soon as she can, we’ll let everyone know.
Thank you for all of your prayers! Please keep them coming!”
Love you all,
Lou

After my accidental fall resulting in a severe spinal injury on August 1, 2017, doctors felt I wouldn't survive much past the initial 5 hr surgery. They also described the break as a complete injury which would leave me paralyzed, with a tracheotomy, feeding tube.
My motto since day one has been “ you don’t know me!” and I proved that in the past 2 years. Turns out the injury was not a complete injury. With that the hunt began to find PT that had the equipment to help me overcome the injury.
So always keep in mind these things in mind: Courage, Perseverance, Faith, Hope and Love.
